Why is the caste system in India bad?

Caste system has done many damages to India. Now also it is doing. Caste system is bad because - it divides people from birth, it never unites. So how can you expect an united India through rigid caste system. Aurobindo said - "India got independence, but India is yet to get oneness". And for this caste system is an obstacle. read more

caste system is bad anywhere, not just in india. see god (or whoever it is) divided humans in just gender, but humans divided themselves in religion, communities, caste. sometimes religion also behaves like a caste system. i am an atheist and moreover i dont believe in religion, caste and other related things. read more
