A large number of the Dallas downtown buildings have newer light systems that can have the colors selected to produce a theme for the entire city skyline, so sometimes Reunion Tower is red as their part of the overall theme. After the tragic killings in Paris, Dallas and many other cities were lit in red, white and blue. read more

The entire structure has a boatload of spaces for setting up conferences, parties, etc. Part of the tower also has an elaborate restaurant. I think there is a radio/tv station there as well. The entire trip to the ball, one needs to take a glass elevator. read more

Celebrate before the fireworks with dinner and drinks on the atrium level at Hyatt Regency Dallas. All guests dining at Hyatt Regency Dallas are invited outside to Reunion Lawn to catch the Reunion Tower fireworks at midnight, or they can watch the NBC broadcast from inside the atrium. Monduel’s Bar will remain open until 2 AM. read more
