Why is the U.S education system low ranking?

1. The students don't care. Parents aren't as strict, and they don't push their child to do much. The teachers aren't strict, and often give in to the students. We live in a first world country, where everything seems so easy. read more

From what my mother tells me about her past education in China in the 1970’s - 1980’s, the students are split off into high school by grades. The students with higher grades go to one school, the students that are average go to another school, etc. Here in the U.S. , classes are split randomly. read more
