Why is there no Native American History Month?

Federal are "encouraged to provide educational programs for their employees regarding Native American history, rights, culture and contemporary issues" There was a week, and before that a day, before this law. To my knowledge only Washington State in it's brand new law requires native American history standards ion the schools. State law 5433. read more
