There's contrast in the perception of the Games between the high and low members of the society, something which cannot be adapted in a video game. A Hunger Games video game would just have you playing as a contestant in a survival game, an idea which has been explored too many times. read more
Unlike, say, Quiddich, which is a broken, unbalanced mess of a game that doesn't make any sense, The Hunger Games has a cruel logic to it that's a natural fit for competitive gaming.
