Why is there not a McDonalds in Albania?

I''don't know the real reasons, but it doesn't bother me because you can have healthier food at the local restaurants. Maybe not direct in Albania, but in Kosovo there are now 2 KFC's, one in Prishtina and one in Mitrovicë. I was in one KFC and it was okay, but for that money you can get wayyyyy more. read more

That's a great thing, McDonalds and any other American fast food chain suck so much. The ripoffs fast foods in Albania are better in every way possible. If there is one thing we do well, literally only one, it's making food taste good. read more

Whether they have just said no,non, nyet, nej, etc or whether they have flirted with McDonald's before giving them the elbow, there's many a place where the fast food giant has failed to make its mark. read more
