Why is violence against gay people widely tolerated in Russia?

This is not a problem with (or of) gay people. The government in Russia is a gang of mobsters. They only care about the money and sucking off the natural resources, which is the easiest money around. Because there are too few people who have any compassion to homosexuals and are not afraid to say about it in public. Most otherwise normal and good people are homophobes. They can't even explain why. "It is disgusting" and "It is against nature", that's pretty much all they can say. read more
