Why isn't the Heroes of Olympus series made into a movie?

The Heroes of Olympus series is a spin off and continues from the Percy Jackson series. They have made movies of the first 2 Percy Jackson books and will probably finish the series. They will then start with the Heroes of Olympus series, making them into movies, though in my opinion they'll probably mess up with those movies really bad. Regarding Rick Riordan's other books, the 39 Clues is already being made into a movie. read more
