The Treaty of Hamburg (1762) - Which ended the Seven Years War between Sweden and Prussia. The war ended as most do, with territorial changes around the world. read more
Seven Years' War. The Seven Years' War was "just" another war between European powers fought on multiple continents. After its end some countries lost territories, some gained territories, some paid reparations and the business went just as before. Basically the war wasn't that special and that different from the other wars that came before it. read more
In his History of the English Speaking Peoples Winston Churchill titled a chapter on The Seven Years War as "The First World War". Sad that it is really considered as a footnote to the French and American Revolutions. read more
