Why should parents be able to opt their children in or out of a subject that they'll need later in life, one way or another? Sex education should be mandatory, comprehensive, medically accurate, and taught throughout student's school years, just like math. It's been shown to help students, not hurt. read more

Students should have to be taught about sex education in high school! Students and teens should be taught in schools about sex. Sex education is not taught enough throughout the United States. I live in Mississippi and according to statistics MS is the leading state in the US of teen pregnancy. read more

Comprehensive sex education doesn't encourage kids to have sex. Just like abstinence-only programs, good comprehensive programs teach students that abstinence is the only surefire way to prevent pregnancy and STDs. read more
