Fighting a wild male kangaroo is an entirely different proposition—a battle with a powerful animal that may think it’s struggling for its life. Boxing kangaroos also wore gloves to protect the human pugilist from their claws. As I said, we should always give a kangaroo as much space as possible. However, if you're already fairly close when you come upon it, there are things you should do to avoid being hurt. Don't walk towards it, especially quickly. If it moves toward you, or shows signs of being aggressive, move away, but don't run. read more
