I am not a fan of additional ads on Mobile DVR. However, in regards to HBO, you can download the HBOGO app which uses the same login as directv (since that is where your HBO subscription is based out of) and access their current library with no comercials. read more

Last I heard Mobile DVR was only in test markets right now and had to have the software downloaded to the Genie models HR44 and HR54, connected to internet, in order to work. read more
