well, some persians actually came to usa with a lot of money after islamic revolution. they were rich iranians who were not satisfied with the new government and chose to live in usa. the other part of persians living in the usa are people with higher educations that come to usa every year. each year, best of iranian students come to usa for a phd or so and they mostly stay in the usa after graduation. read more
