The twin towers were not rebuilt for a multiple of reasons, during the design competion , nobody brought the idea to the table, so the thought never came to mind, i guess. Secondly, As Americans, we do not look back, rebuilding the original trade center towers is acting like nothing ever happened, The Freedom tower is a marker, it shows where everything happened, you automatically know when you look at it. read more
