Maybe I'm being naïve but I believe there was no bad intentions there, at least originally. Rowling was approached by an author with an interesting idea to make a Harry Potter play, and she agreed. The differences in writing style and constant contradictions to canon make it pretty obvious she didn't write any of it. read more
