Why would someone choose Cornell over Harvard?

, is anyone choosing Cornell over other ivies. I mean Cornell is top and is better than other ivies in certain areas, such as science and engineering. Also, is it really that much harder to do well at cornell than at like lets say UPenn or Northwestern or Duke. read more

Cornell is in the middle of nowhere and freezes over for 6 months out of the year. The engineering industry in the Northeast is stagnant, and you'll have to compete with people from MIT for the same work. read more
