I would choose UChicago over Yale for three reasons. The Core. Both schools are liberal arts colleges, but the Core at UChicago is world-renown for producing the most well-rounded, intelligent students. read more
One may be a better fit over the other depending on college major (in this case UChicago over Yale or vice-versa). Of course, the most important is application. You should apply and see if you get accepted. read more
Name recognition wise, Yale has a huge lead on UChicago internationally, even though UChicago's economics dept is top notch. For that reason alone, I would choose Yale even though, I think UChicago is ranked slightly higher in the ARWU rankings. read more
