Take the value of the time you will invest as a person (person value time- PVT) then subtract the value of whatever shrew life this shrew has left under optimal/ideal conditions (i.e. you save it and it lives a full shrew life), multiplied by the probability you can save it. read more
This shrew if she makes it through the night will only be with me for the time it takes for her leg to heal. There is no possible way I can tame a shrew, a prey animal, in that amount of time. I may be young but I have experience with wildlife, I have raised and helped injured wildlife before but never anything this badly hurt or fragile. read more
Layer the bottom of the terrarium with at least 6 inches of dirt so the shrew has room to dig and make a home. Like moles and voles, shrews are burrowing creatures. Decorate the terrarium with stones, leaves and other outdoor objects to help reduce stress for the animal. read more
