I've done it before without problems. Even if they're peanut butter & jelly (something that's typically stored in the fridge), it has so much sugar in it that it's inhospitable to microbes. read more

Jelly is the only thing in, peanut butter and jelly, that requires refrigeration. Jelly has a good shelf life until it is opened then, It MUST be refrigerated. Peanut Butter, on the other hand, requires no refrigeration to stay safe and refrigeration will actually keep it fresher longer and help keep it from going stale so soon. read more
