The problem is not so much that they could be pets, because essentially you could have any animal as a pet (even a whale if you want I guess). Instead, people struggle to realize that they would not have the relationship they think they would with it. And this relationship would be either frustrating or disappointing. read more

Any animal will, even a domesticated dog will attack you if provoke it enough. Even the nicest, sweetest human being alive will attack you if you provoke them enough. Panda's aren't very aggressive, and really most bears aren't in general. But you can get territoral males or females that are protecting cubs that will maul the feces right out of you. read more
