The Giants’ catcher suffered a season-ending ankle injury in May of 2011 after a brutal home plate collision with Scott Cousins of the Marlins. Posey said Friday he “would bet” his ankle tweak is related to the damage caused by Cousins, but he believes he’ll be able to play on a consistent basis moving forward this spring. read more
