In the original EU, Chewbacca died before Han Solo. He was crushed by a moon. That's right, he was crushed by a moon. Apparently these space terrorists who later take over the galaxy used some gravity based weapon on a planet with a moon orbiting it that Chewie happened to be on. read more

The newest trailer for the upcoming spinoff film, Solo: A Star Wars Story (titled such because the trailers filled with literally nothing but winks at and explicit references to Star Wars would have definitely been lost on people otherwise), ends with a pretty exciting, tense scene: there's a big train robbery going down, and Chewbacca and Han have run into some trouble. read more
