This indicates that the Des Moines which is 1420kms away from Yellowstone Super Volcano will be submerged under 40 mm volcanic ash. This is enough to damage agriculture, electricity and human life. I am not saying that everyone would die there but 40mms are enough for the total disruption of communications etc. read more
