So, no, I do not think Hamilton will surpass Shakespeare's legacy. I certainly don't think it will replace him. However, Lin Manuel-Miranda could be remembered as the greatest American playwright of all time, just as Shakespeare is remembered as the greatest British playwright, if he produces more work of this quality. read more
