A hot dryer for 10 - 15 minutes would kill lice, fleas and their eggs. It would also kill lots of bacteria, especially if laundered first. If one is talking about cashmere, wool, etc., then treating as a fine washable or dry cleanable and then when dry, cycling trough a hot dryer won't shrink the fiber in my experience. read more
