They are usually small in install size cause they don't have crazy textures like most AAA games have (Fallout 4,Witcher 3,Gears 4) Gears 4 being small in size compared to most open world games is freakin huge 100GB+ thanks to stuff like 4k Textures another example with 4k bumping up the install size is Doom. read more
