they aren't all that enriched in uranium, as it doesn't take a lot to make a sample ore-worthy, but they certainly contain uranium as uranium minerals which is why I keep the samples. One of my profs had a lot of uranium samples in his basement (he had a long history in copper and uranium ore deposits) and then one day years ago did a radon test in his house. read more
