I would recommend not getting a tattoo with your blood type given it would be a waste of money and ink - no health professional worth their salt would give you blood based upon a tattoo! Neither should they give you blood based upon what you say your blood type is either. read more
The OPO we work with will not accept a donor who has gotten a tattoo in the last calendar year, and not at all for a ‘homemade’ tattoo (especially a tattoo received in prison). They Eye Bank I work with will accept someone with a tattoo received in the last year IF it was done in a professional studio with sterile instruments. read more
