Would it be fun riding a bike on the moon?

Let's assume you have a sealed habitat with a gymnasium, so you can ride without a spacesuit. It would be scary--maybe impossible. You could ride much faster on earth with only one sixth your normal weight compressing the tires, but you would have no traction. read more

Getting on a bicycle was probably out of the question, let alone riding it. Mobility aside, the physics would certainly be interesting, especially with lunar gravity being about a sixth of Earth’s. I did find this video of a guy riding a bicycle underwater, which I think highlights some of the problems one might encounter with moon-biking. read more
