Would the Moon be a dwarf planet if it wasn't orbiting earth?

If the earth and moon were separated enough that they wouldn’t be attracted to eachother, it’s hard to say how many small bits and pieces would be left over in our orbit, but chances are, it would be considered it’s own planet, not a dwarf planet. read more
