A monarch will also represents Serbians, not certain political stances, religions or ethnicities. They are a symbol of a unified people and nation. It would certainly elevate Serbia’s recognition in the world, making it stand out amongst their Balkans neighbours. You can have both a constitutional monarchy and a democracy. In fact nearly all constitutional monarchies today are democracies. One could even argue that constitutional monarchies means that a country is much more likely to be a democracy than a republic. read more
A constitutional monarchy would slip into Germany's current political structure with some ease, this is due to the President of Germany being a ceremonial position much like that of the Heads of State in Britain and Spain, with their respective monarchies, with the heads of governments being Prime ministers (who have the real power,like Cameron or Merkel) rather than an active political president like that of the United States. read more
