The “s” in the LC9s stands for striker fired, and the change from the hammer-fired design of the original LC9 brings a much easier and crisper trigger pull.

Sig Sauer’s heavy all-steel construction give their pistols recoil reduction and higher quality overall. Another plus for those concealed carrying is no external safety- the guns have double action built in to the trigger pull.
I have had a concealed carry permit for more than 20 years, and for most of that time I have favored two carry guns: my very first, a Walther PPK/S in .380 ACP and an early 9mm Walther P99, the same model introduced in the 1997 James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies. Was it the Bond influence, as far back as 1962’s Dr.

With the VP9 hot off the presses, the wait is over and Heckler & Koch has reentered the striker-fired handgun market. This bad boy is sort of like a cross between HK’s own P30 and Walther’s PPQ, with a trick or two of its own thrown in for good measure . . .

A G42 and a G43 would make a better comparison. A G26 would feel like a brick compared to the single stacks. For pant pocket carry, the G42 is obviously the easiest to carry. If you're talking about a heavy winter coat pocket, a G26 would work well.
The Glock 17 Gen 4 incorporates a dual recoil-spring assembly which is intended to increase spring life and reduce recoil – the result is a firearm that is even more manageable to fire than the original Glock 17 (which had already made shooting a breeze).
I own a Glock Gen 4 G19, and have had zero issues with it, both before and after I got the new spring from Glock. After getting the new spring, I ran about 220 rounds through it – no issues whatsoever.
Glock. You know the name, but do you trust the brand? Choosing the right concealed carry firearm is an important decision; a decision that should never be rushed.
The GLOCK 19 is ideal for a more versatile role because of its reduced dimensions when compared to the standard sized option. My purpose in this article is not an exhaustive review and critique of the G26 “Baby Glock”, but simply my view of this gun from a concealed carry self-defense choice of pistol. The primary considerations for my concealed carry gun are size, capacity and caliber. The Glock 26 Gen 4 is a well-rounded blend of all three of these qualities.
With a length of 7.28 inches, a fully loaded weight of 30.18 ounces and a standard Glock rail for attachments, this weapon is one of the epitomes of a great firearm for concealed carry. Glock 22 Gen4 The fourth weapon on our list is very similar to the last one discussed.
I just got this gun: Ruger SP101 .357 Magnum 2.25″ barrel. My other gun is a Ruger LCRx 38 Spl +P with 3″ barrel. The LCRx is weightless and the 3″ barrel makes it exceptionally accurate. The trigger on the LCRx is easy and awesome. At the range, I can only go maybe 25-30 rounds max because it kind of hurts.

Remember the inbelt carry is about thickness of the gun and the thickest spot of the revolver is the cylinder. The width of the cylinder of GP100 is 1.5 inch which is as wide as the Beretta 92/M9 pistol.
