The official description of the Little 500 is that it is an intramural relay-style bicycle race held annually at Indiana University, in which riders compete in teams of four and ride for 200 laps, or approximately 50 miles. However, as any Indiana alumnus can tell you, the Little 500 is so, so much more than that.

West Virginia University is a research institution focused on providing a world-class education to its students. The University is split up into 3 different campuses around the city of Morgantown and is connected by a Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) monorail system built in the 1970's.
WVU does party, I suppose, but not really anymore than other major campuses like Penn State, Indiana, OSU. It's a college town with alot of fun bars and a good amount of house parties. It use to be alot more wild than it is. A big section of housing that was known for parties is being redeveloped and the cops are much stricter now than before.
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is a prestigious school with professors that teach passionately and thoroughly. The school encourages a competitive nature from its students. The Community Health program in the College of Applied Health Sciences is academically rewarding, but not difficult.
I think that college students party in general, but Bucknell may get labeled a 'party school' because it is not near a major city and there are fewer options for students. I think some of Bucknell's charm is the small town feel and intimacy of the area.
