1 Horseback riding (or Equestrian) is one of the most intense sports known to man. Not only because it's physically challenging, but it takes more than athleticism. Horseback riding takes commitment, time, patience, and most importantly building a bond with your horse.
In reality, scuba diving is not as dangerous as people seem to believe and in those rare instances of a scuba fatality it is almost always shown diver recklessness was the cause. Most scuba diving fatalities claim the lives of the ignorant, the reckless and the irresponsible.

Cheerleading is tough, it's very challenging and fortunately, it's not even close to being one of the most dangerous sports. With the risk of Altitude sickness, Avalanches, Frostbite and just falling off the mountain high altitude mountaineering is probably the most dangerous sport you can do.
With this I do believe wrestling is a dangerous sport, but definitely not as dangerous as bull riding, football, or MMA. personally I think mma is the most dangerous sport. even though in my eyes wrestling isn't the most dangerous sport, I still believe that it's the toughest sport, and makes tough individuals.

Water polo is the hardest sports ever played.. if you have never played it you might think its easy but it not. you have to tread water and try and keep the ball in t=you hand while trying to fight off your defender. you practice and train for hours and hours a day to try and keep your strength up.

I've never met a successful wrestler who didn't have a killer instinct, a high pain tolerance, and a competitive drive.

I've also done a lot of other sports for almost as long or at least 2 seasons including soccer, dance, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, softball, football, wrestling, swimming, and track. Out of all of these sports I've been included in, gymnastics has to be the most intense, most difficult, and most dangerous sport I've ever done.
Even sports that do not allow full contact can be deathtraps. Hockey and American football are among the most physical games out there, with devastating hits being dished out in every game. But even look at baseball; a hard ball is being hurled at speeds around 100 mph. Batting helmets exist for a reason.
