The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (AKA ゼルダの伝説でんせつ: 時ときのオカリナ Zeruda no Densetsu: Toki no Okarina in Japan) is a 3D role-playing game (RPG) developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 console in 1998. It is the first Link’s adventure in a 3D real big world and the forth game in The Legend of Zelda saga.
But there’s no other game as synonymous with role-playing greatness than Chrono Trigger, a game that managed to outshine its highly regarded contemporaries and land the number three spot on our list of best games of all time thanks to its complex plot, lovable cast of characters, and ambitious technical achievements.
With a peak of 12 million subscriptions in October 2010 and Blizzard's final report of 5.5 million subscriptions in October 2015, World of Warcraft remains the world's most-subscribed MMORPG, and holds the Guinness World Record for the most popular MMORPG by subscribers.
3 Super Smash Bros. Melee. Melee surpasses EVERY smash bros game, it has the fastest gameplay and the best controls. Melee is better then Smash Bros. 4 because it has characters that don't exist in Brawl. It has better controls, Awesome audios better then 4.
Final Fantasy VII isn’t just one of the best Final Fantasy games, it’s also one of the most iconic and influential RPGs of all-time. It was the one of the first RPGs to have full 3D cinematic sequences in the middle of gameplay, and the ATB combat system took the best of what the series had done in the past and perfected it.
Evidently, the world speed run record for Super Mario World is just a little less than five minutes, due not only to the overworld's secrets but obviously in-game glitches, but the ability to skip around is a great factor for speed running this game.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask has a unique, one-of-a-kind mystique. Some of it, frankly, is derived from its relatively late release on Nintendo 64 -- it launched the same day as PlayStation 2 did in North America -- but there's so much more to it than that.
Over the years, many gaming magazines and websites have churned out a ton of ranked lists as part of an ongoing attempt to comprehensively document the top 10 (or top 100, or 200, or whatever) video games of all time. This page aims to offer a summary of some of the leading Top 10s, as excerpted from various Top 100 (and up) lists.
As I said in my entry for Dark Souls in our 2015 top 100 games of all time feature, From Software’s creation represents everything that is important to video games in the modern era, from polished, core gameplay mechanics, to player agency, to narrative involvement, to world design, to the many, many emotional peaks and troughs of an expertly paced, but organically delivered journey.
Rockstar Games doesn't usually have a large presence at E3; it tends to announce details about its latest games on its own schedule. But seeing as Red Dead Redemption II is only a few months away, it's possible we'll hear more about the upcoming open-world Western at this year's big event. To ...
I concur. It was my favorite of the series as well, terrifying at times, genuinely intriguing, with enjoyable and flexible combat. "The gorgeous world of Bioshock combined with a great gameplay and one of the best stories told in a video game," someone said. "Oozes atmosphere and style," wrote another.
Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue are now available for systems in the Nintendo 3DS family! The games remain true to the originals, complete with monochromatic pixel art and 4-bit background music, so you can feel as though you’re experiencing the games just as they were back then!
The atmosphere of Halo Combat Evolved is astounding, playing on the older graphics on the Anniversary version gives a mind-filling nostalgia trip on one of the most deeply charming sci-fi shooters at the time. The mysterious vibe to the Halo universe to encountering the vicious Flood enemies for the first time, everything is well presented.

We did it with Halo, so let's do it with another of the world's biggest game series, Grand Theft Auto. And by "it", I mean rank the games from "best" to "bottom of the list". We did it with Halo, so let's do it with another of the world's biggest game series, Grand Theft Auto.
Halo 2 has always been my favorite game in Microsoft's flagship series, one I played for endless hours while in high school (back when you had to invite people over to play multiplayer or co-op). The campaign has always been closest to my heart, filled with complex characters whose motives and intentions (and affiliations) aren't known until the action-packed last act of the game.
Yeah, the Prime games were the best use of the Wiimote, no doubt. honestly, if the next Metroid game is a first person game like the prime games, or even a third person game but stil like the prime games with a lot of aiming, it NEEDS to be wiimote controlled. I really hope they make it like prime, but in third person with more emphasis (and new features) focused on platforming.
According to my survey, Mass Effect 2 is the best by far. It received 56% of the vote, while Mass Effect 3 received 22.9%, and the original Mass Effect received 21.1%. Those who favored the original Mass Effect cited the story and the sense of adventure.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Given how many hours I sank into Oblivion, it may seem surprising to see it so low on the list. But while Oblivion is an outstanding (even underrated!) game in many respects, its relatively dull setting of Cyrodiil and mostly boring, melodramatic story leave it somewhat below the other games for me.
This is a community for Megami Tensei, a series of JRPGs developed by Atlus. Games included under the MegaTen umbrella are the mainline Shin Megami Tensei games and its sub-series of Persona, Devil Summoner, Devil Survivor, Digital Devil Saga, and Raidou Kuzunoha (among others).
Either way, your least favorite game in the series is Bioshock 2, with a full 60% of the votes. It seems the return to Rapture, this time as a Big Daddy, just didn't quite stand up to the experience of the original, nor did it provide enough of a new experience like Bioshock Infinite.
