It has been fun to watch this sort of game flourish and grow in the last five years and for me What Remains of Edith Finch represents a peak for the genre. It uses the first-person perspective to move you between bodies, into different mediums, always returning to Edith as she explores her old family home.
Total War: Warhammer II is the greatest strategy game of all time. That is a bold claim, sure, but one that gets easier to make with every subsequent piece of DLC that bolsters Creative Assembly’s masterpiece.
And, obviously, Forza is a good-looking game overall. We'd be surprised if it wasn't, but due to Forza Horizon 3's performance problems, including an occasional hitch that still plagues it today, Motorsport 7 has a lot to prove. So far so good.
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice was the big winner at tonight's British Academy Games Awards, the UK's annual BAFTA ceremony celebrating outstanding achievement in videogames.
