If the GCIU logo was used on studio-printed posters for the video releases of these movies, then inherently these posters are still originals — just not original theatrical posters. Conclusion. Given everything I know so far, it sounds like I have an original video release poster from Raiders of the Lost Ark. The problem I’m having is two fold.
The depth of Steven Spielberg’s filmography is only rivaled by the sheer number of iconic posters his films have spawned: the nostalgic portraiture of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, the wonder and hope of E.T., the mystique of Jurassic Park, but not even these can come close to the poster for Jaws.
Pretty disappointing, but I'll probably keep it, because the only other movie poster like this on Amazon has bad reviews. It's also glossy which most movie posters aren't either, but I don't notice it at all when framed which is a good thing.
