This one is perfect for sipping alone, or (as I enjoyed it last night) with seared porkchops and mushroom gravy - the wine is robust enough to hang in there with heavier foods. The grape, Caladoc, is a fairly recent cross (1958) of Malbec and Grenache, hence the ability to work with grilled meats and roasts.
