Fertilise: Fertilise only during the growing season (Spring and Summer) with a balanced cactus food or a liquid fertiliser diluted to half the strength recommended on the label. Propagation: Leaf cuttings can be taken and planted in new soil during spring.
Kalanchoes are characterized by opening their flowers by growing new cells on the inner surface of the petals to force them outwards, and on the outside of the petals to close them. Kalanchoe flowers are divided into 4 sections with 8 stamens. The petals are fused into a tube, in a similar way to some related genera such as Cotyledon.
With nearly 200 recognized species, the genus Mammillaria is one of the largest of the cactus family. For the most part, these species are globose or ball-shaped plants which grow either solitary or in clumps.

The donkey's tail succulent (Sedum morganianum) is a popular and easy-to-grow trailing succulent with rows of fleshy, tear-dropped shaped leaves. This plant is also commonly known as lamb's tail, burro's tail, or horse's tail. Some other closely related Sedum varieties may also be known by any of these names. These succulents make excellent hanging plants or they can be used as trailers (a plant with only one root that creeps along the surface) in small pots.
Several spurges are grown as garden plants, among them poinsettia (E. pulcherrima) and the succulent E. trigona. E. pekinensis (Chinese: 大戟; pinyin: dàjǐ) is used in traditional Chinese medicine, where it is regarded as one of the 50 fundamental herbs.
It is highly recommended. I bought it at the end of season for half price cost of $2.00. Very well spent in my opinion. I have flushed close to $100 buying plants that die in just 5 seasons. Call me a slow learner or persistent. Since we have -21 f winter days I now err seldom and am cautious with our flower garden plant choices.
