I found what I believe to be a small patch of gymnopilus aeruginosus. Theyve got the characteristic scaly cap with brown/oragne coloring, rust orange spore print, blue-green tones on the cap, slightly decurrent orange gills.

I suppose G. cyanopalmicola is active and G. palmicola is not? Gymnopilus palmicola has a cap that is half as large, does not stain blue, has basidiospores with very large tubercles and an obtuse to truncate apex, and its cheilocystidia have mainly obtuse to subcapitate apexes.
