The Blue Lantern Corps is a fictional organization appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, beginning in 2007 in Green Lantern vol. 4 #25 by Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver. Their powers, similar to those of other organizations based around the emotional spectrum, are fueled by the emotion of hope.
Willpower is a light born of The White Light of creation, but in fact is not an emotion, and is represented by the color green. Willpower is in fact a mental ability rather than an emotion, and is defined as "the control of one's impulses and actions".
The Indigo Tribe is a fictional organization that appears in DC Comics publications, primarily those of the Green Lantern series. In the DC Universe, it is one of the seven major groups known as the Corps of the emotional spectrum.
In turn Agent Orange the leader of the Orange Lantern Corps was so enraged and infuriated that he sent a message to the Guardians telling them their former treaty was null and void because of the actions taken by the Controllers breaching the isolation agreement they had set forth so long ago.
Red/Rage. The 7-Lantern Corps Symbols. Red is one of the energies far from the center, and represents the emotion of rage/anger. A person who has felt great rage is able to tap into the red light. However, controlling the red light also renders the heart useless and spoils the blood of the wielder.
First formed by the Zamarons at the conclusion of the Mystery of the Star Sapphire storyline running in Green Lantern vol. 4, issues #18–20 (May–July 2007), their abilities come from violet power rings which wield the power of love.
The White Lantern Corps first appeared in Blackest Night #7 and was created by Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis. Fictional team history The first White Lantern Corps member was Sinestro of Korugar when he bonded with the Life Entity, the embodiment of life itself.
Sinestro's ring was originally charged by attacking Green Lanterns, presumably to tap into the yellow light of fear provided by Parallax who was trapped in the Green Lantern's Central Battery for eons. With the construction of the Sinestro Corps' Central Power Battery, a Yellow Power Ring has the same power limitations as a Green Lantern Ring.
