Clairsentience, which means clear sensing, is the ability to feel the present, past or future physical and emotional states of others, without the use of the normal five senses. Psychics who are clairsentient are able to retrieve information from houses, public buildings and outside areas.
Clairsentience, “clear sensing” or “clear feeling” is an extremely heightened form of empathy. Clairsentience is the ability to feel and experience the energy in an intuitive way. This energy stream includes other people’s feelings, inanimate objects, spiritual insights, and premonitions of the future.
Psychometry, or clairtangency (clear touching), is the ability to sense information by touch. It’s based on the theory that everyone leaves a vibration or resonance on objects they handle.
Clairvoyance differs from telepathy, which is one of several other psychic powers. Telepathy is a conscious, direct sending of information from one individual to another, without the use of the five senses. Clairvoyance is the knowledge of past, present or future events that is gained without direct conscious thought.
Empathy is the ability to sense the feelings and emotions of others, without their telling us, verbally, what they are thinking and feeling. Often, someone who is a psychic empath needs to learn basic shielding techniques.

Arthur Conan Doyle and W. T. Stead were duped into believing Julius and Agnes Zancig had genuine psychic powers. Both Doyle and Stead wrote the Zancigs performed telepathy.
