The baritone ukulele is the largest of the four classic sizes for the instrument, and is different in its tuning. Unlike the traditional GCEA of a concert ukulele, the baritone is tuned DGBE. If you're also into guitar, this tuning probably sounds familiar: it's the same as the top four strings of a six-string guitar.
The concert ukulele, sometimes referred to as the alto, is just a little bit bigger than the soprano and some would consider it to have a fuller sound. It’s commonly tuned in standard like the soprano uke although some people will opt to tune their G down an octave (linear tuning).

This Kala holds its tune for days, great tone both plugged in and not. i like the satin finish. Had a Lanakai the was Glossy and looked beautiful but had high action and seemed to be sonically dead. maybe the heavy gloss has something to do with it. YOU cant go wrong with this uke.
Kala KA-15S belongs to the soprano category of ukuleles. In other words, it is the most popular size out there, and for a good reason. Sopranos are generally the type ukes that produce the tone most people associate with this instrument. The wood they have chosen for this build is mahogany. Both the body and the neck are made of this tonewood.

The Oscar Shmidt OU5 Concert Ukulele The OU5 concert ukulele features a select Hawaiian Koa top, back and sides, which look striking in the natural gloss finish. The abalone binding and rosette are the icing on the cake, for an instrument that's as beautiful to look at as it is to hear.
BUT there is an exception to every rule. In the world of ukuleles there are quite a bit of these exceptions and the Sawtooth ST-UKE-MS-KIT-2 Mahogany Soprano Ukulele Bundle is one of them. This bundle incorporated good quality ukulele with functional accessories to provide everything an entry-level player might need.
Common types of ukuleles include soprano (standard ukulele), concert, tenor, and baritone. Less common are the sopranino (also called piccolo, bambino, or "pocket uke"), bass, and contrabass ukuleles. The soprano, often called "standard" in Hawaii, is the second-smallest and was the original size.
