Al-Aqsa Mosque (Arabic: ٱلْـمَـسْـجِـد الْاَقْـصَى , translit. Al-Masjid al-Aqṣā, IPA: [ʔælˈmæsdʒɪd ælˈʔɑqsˤɑ] ( listen), "the Farthest Mosque"), located in the Old City of Jerusalem, is the third holiest site in Islam.
