Yes. Actually, black widow bites are rarely fatal to humans. I was bitten when I was 18 - I picked up a flower pot to move it and there was a black widow spider under the lip of the pot. It bit the tip of my right middle finger. We called poison control just in case, and they were pretty relaxed about it. read more
