Yes. I spoke with some skaters in Havana and Santa Clara back in 2001. They said they will only skate in designated areas because it is a serious crime to damage/destroy property. And, when they weren't skating they would tie stuff onto their skateboards and use them like wagons. read more

The year is not over for Amigo Skate Cuba, with a trip planned for Go Skateboarding Day in June, and another to build more skate obstacles when temperatures start to cool in December. More trips will go in early 2016 as well. read more
