Nursing school is 1) competitive to get in and 2) competitive to stay in. For this discussion I am only referring to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree programs. Associate's degre programs are offered in a number of community colleges and for-profit schools, but the current job market definitely favors Bachelors-prepared nurses. read more
