You can configure FitBit to import the data from the other website/app so your bike rides will automatically show up as an activity in FItBit's website with basic information (Time, Distance, Calories) from the other app and FitBit will map you Heart Rate from you CHR to the activity. read more

When I am riding my spin bike I put the Fitbit Surge in my pocket and it counts partial steps (e.g I rode 90 mins and it counted 6,000 steps when it should be more like 25,000). On my outside bike it counted 3500 steps for a 10 mile ride. read more
