It is not late to join the US Army if you are just 30 years old. I have seen about 4 or 5 soldiers above 30 when I was at For Benning. You can perform your Physical Training like a 17 years old guy if you are motivated and you always realize the main reason you join the US Army. read more

I’ve seen many older people join the Army. I think whether or not it’s “too late” is entirely dependent on the individual and their motivations for joining. I’ve seen 30 year olds join as privates, reach senior nco ranks significantly faster than those with similar time in service, and become comissioned officers. read more
