Is it better to live in Switzerland or in Austria?

I live in Zurich, my sister lives in Graz (Austria). We're originally from Munich and often compare notes, so to speak. My comparison is thus more or less Zurich to Graz, not so much Austria to Switzerland, as both countries are pretty diverse. read more

Switzerland and Austria both are multiethnic countries. The difference is though that Switzerland became independent from the then Holy Roman Empire of the German nation some hundred years ago, whereas (the then much bigger than today Austria) was part of the German Confederation until 1866. read more
